Better Together believe in access and equity for people experiencing personal and financial crises.
We respect and uphold your dignity and rights and will do our utmost in providing service that is culturally appropriate.
Our Personal Support service provides emotional and task-based support to the people of the Atherton Tablelands e.g. help in completing forms or speaking on your behalf to authorities.
At Better Together, we work collaboratively to liase with other Better Together services and partner organisations to provide support to people experiencing emotional stress.
For example, if you are also undergoing financial hardship, we may provide help through our Emergency Relief program as well. Or we may recommend you explore options in our family programs.
All Better Together staff members are trained to respect your privacy and confidentiality and will do their best to help you.
Every July to October we run the ATO accredited volunteered Tax Help Program. You can make an appointment with one of our volunteers, at our premises, on a Tuesday between 9:30 am – 12 pm.
