Donate for local action

Better Together Community Support Inc.is  a sustainable organisationt that gives value-for-money outcomes to its funders.

As a trusted ACNC-registered charity, we are audited to robust standards and pride ourselves on our transparency and effectiveness.

We are a completely local charity, meaning funds that we receive are also spent in the Atherton Tablelands.

Additional funds will mean that it furthers the breadth and scope of the work we do: greater connectedness to those who need help, responding to pockets of need quickly and effectively.

Most of all, we can help Tablelanders right here, meaning your generous donation will help the people of the Atherton Tablelands.

For example, during our Winter Warmers appeal, we often receive donations of warm clothing and bedding but there may not be enough to go around.

Any generous donations from a local means that we were able to purchase items that ordinarily, vulnerable families are able to access.

Better Together is proudly local and we’ll make sure that donations are used for the people of the Tablelands.

If you would like to donate with cash you can come into the Community Centre at 16a Robert St, Atherton and pay over the counter and we will provide a receipt in person. 

Donations over $2 are tax deductible as we are a registered Charity. If you require a receipt please enter you details below and we will email them to you. We need your name and address for the receipt:

I came to Better Together very upset. When I got there, someone gave me a hot cup of tea, listened to my story and my problems. I had no money, no job, no housing… I had nothing. She (Better Together worker) looked at me and said firmly that it would be alright. That night, she found me a roof over my head and gave me help with food and petrol. I was able to find a job within the next few weeks and soon had stable accommodation and a different life. I can’t thank you enough. Thank you for saying that it would be alright, because it did turn out alright for me.
